Because of Snowshoe’s rugged location and proximity to multiple major cities and road networks, there are lots of possible answers. Whether you’re looking for long straight highways, scenic back roads, convenient midway stops, historical points of interest, or just to get here and get on with the fun, Snowshoe road tripping requires some pre-planning. While modern GPS and smartphone maps are handy, Snowshoe is located in a rural area, and you’ll want to check the turn-by-turn instructions against your plan.
