Mother Nature's Pride and Joy

Natural snowfall, along with our state-of-the-art snowmaking, means we're able to guarantee more open terrain than any other ski mountain in the Southeast.

From December 15, 2017 – March 11, 2018 we guarantee we'll have more skiable terrain open here at Snowshoe than any other ski mountain in the Southeast, or your next day of skiing is FREE.

Our unmatched commitment to snowmaking and grooming ensures that we are able to offer the best possible conditions regardless of what Mother Nature throws our way. When our snowmaking and grooming prowess is combined with our Snow Guarantee, a visit to Snowshoe is a sure thing.

Purchase any regular price full-day or multi-day Snowshoe lift ticket and, if Snowshoe does not offer the most skiable acreage open versus any one of the Southeast US ski area options, that ticket can be redeemed the same day at the Snowshoe Ticket Window for a lift ticket voucher valid at Snowshoe through the end of the 2017/2018 season. Southeast US ski areas include all winter mountain resorts in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.

The determination of competitors’ skiable acreage open is based on daily snow reports published on and recorded each day at 9am EST. Some limitations apply. Please note that this is an available terrain guarantee only. No vouchers will be given for weather or lift related conditions. No cash refunds will be granted. Vouchers are not transferable and not for re-sale.
