We’ll also have galaxy themed costume parties, intergalactic yoga, drink specials (cosmic cosmo anyone?) and plenty of other “constellation” prizes. Top it all off with some awesome bands like Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Shawn Owen Band and headliner Big Gigantic, and you’re in for one colossal, stellar spring break!

big giganticHeadlining on Saturday, March 11, at 8:30pm on the Village Stage
If you're not already familiar with drummer Jeremy Salken and saxophonist and producer Dominic Lalli, you need to check them out now! Big Gigantic is a Boulder, Colorado, based live/electronic duo that will blow your mind. These guys are known for their lively balancing act of a show, combining blistering saxophone breakdowns with snarling synth bass drops for a roller coaster of an experience. They've released five full-length studio albums and three recent singles that have taken them to new heights. Pretty sure you don't want to miss this show. We'll see ya there.
Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad
Formed in 2001 in Rochester, New York, GPGDS first received praise for their live show, which combined world beats and reggae rhythms within jamband aesthetics. In recent years the band’s studio recordings, which showcase their songwriting and musicianship across all genres of roots music, have further cemented their legend as master innovators and artists. Their sixth studio album "Make it Better" was released in 2016 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart.
Shawn Owen Band
Professional snowboarder turned songwriter, Shawn Owen performs 300+ shows per year as asolo performer and fronting the Shawn Owen Band, sharing the stage with national acts such as TheWailers, Matisyahu, Slightly Stoopid, G. Love and the Special Sauce, Dropkick Murphys, Passafire, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Donovan Frankenreiter, Larry Keel, Dirty Heads, The Aggrolites, Iration and many more. The Shawn Owen Band has brought their distinctive reggae/jam/ska/party vibe throughout the east coast from upstate New York to southern Florida and everywhere in between. Their debut full length LP "Make Money"released June 2015 and the band has been performing relentlessly pushing the new record and writing new material.
Porch 40 is a 5-piece Progressive Funk Rock band from North Carolina with a saxophonist, electric violinist, killer front man, and a tight bass/drums rhythm section that holds it all together. They have shared the stage and performed with Blues Traveler, The Doobie Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, REO Speedwagon, Leftover Salmon, The Suffers, The Nth Power, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and more. They have performed at prominent music festivals such as Oskar Blues Burning Can, Georgia National Fair, Bele Chere, etc., and have some amazing festivals already locked in for 2017, including SweetWater 420 Fest. They are currently in the pre-production process of their Sophomore album.

8:00 pm -10:00 pm | Bar Trek | This Voyage through the Village is going to be an epic adventure! It all starts at the Connection where you’ll pick up a cosmic card to serve as proof you completed the trek. Your mission: journey to select Village establishments for Intergalactic specials and astronomically awesome times. Return to the Connection to complete your quest and spin the wheel for prizes. Must be 21 or older.
9:00 pm - 11:30 pm | Intergalactic Headphone Disco in the Village Plaza | All ages are welcome to participate in this Silent Rave. We'll provide the headphones, the beats, and the glow sticks. All you gotta do is show up ready todance!
