Strap on your snowshoes for an afternoon excursion in our backcountry trail network.  For the most hearty of souls, you can choose make your way to the Sunrise Backcountry Hut, the Cheat Mountain Fire Tower, or the "Airport Runway" all of which offer spectacular Vistas including the Greenbrier River Valley, the Monongahela National Forest, and the distant Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.  After a quick break to catch your breath, it's back to the Village to warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate at Starbucks.


Snowshoe Products and Rates

Snowshoe Equipment Rentals - $29

Snowshoeing is dependent upon natural snowfall.  Snowshoeing Equipment rentals are offered from 10am to 4pm, 7 days / week beginning December 18, 2009.  Check-in at the Outdoor Adventure Village Outpost located near the Shaver Center prior to heading out to the trails.
