The wind rushes in your face and the trees zip past as you head through the backcountry on a snowmobile. Snowmobiling is quickly becoming one of the most popular winter sports at Snowshoe for both the young and the old. Our experienced guides will create a memory that will last a lifetime as they take you to some of the most spectacular parts of our mountain. Whether you're looking for just a leisurely ride or a more adrenaline filled adventure on singletrack trails, snowmobiling is a must do during your stay on the mountain this winter.

One Hour Guided Snowmobile Tour
Tour the Snowshoe basin slope system during our one-hour snowmobile tours. This is the perfect way to cap off a great day of skiing and riding.

Monday - Wednesday:  $49 per driver and $29 per passenger
Thursday - Sunday:  $65 per driver and $39 per passenger
Presidents's Day Holiday (Fri-Mon):  $99 per person and $45 per passenger

Passengers (6-15 years of age and at least 46" tall)
Tours offered daily at 4:45pm to 8:45pm

Extended Backcountry Tours 
During this two-hour tour, you'll go deep into the backcountry and see the mountains in a completely new way.  This tour is more technical and requires previous snowmobile experience.
Offered at 1pm - seven days a week (dependent on natural snowfall)
Price:  $159

Beginning March 16, 2009 all tours will be held during the daytime at the Silver Creek area.

All snowmobile tours have a 48-hour cancellation policy.  All cancellations made within 48 hours of the activity will result in forfeiture of entire activity fee.
