New this season, Snowshoe is offering two snowcat tours; an inside look at our important snowmaking and grooming operations and an adventurous hunt for the elusive Snowshoe Sasquatch, who has roamed this area for centuries. You pick the tour, we provide the adventure!

Have you heard the whispers about a mysterious creature that makes his home in the woods surrounding Snowshoe? Help us track this elusive beast during a fun tour appropriate for all ages.

Monday-Friday and Sundays:
     Snowcat:  $39
     Lap Kid:  $19 (Ages 4 and under)

Saturdays and Holidays*:
     Snowcat:  $44
     Lap Kid:  $19 (ages 4 and under)

Snowmaking and Grooming Tour
5:15pm daily

Explore our basin slopes and learn how our snowmaking team turns the freshwater of Shaver's Lake into the Mid-Atlantic's finest skiable snow.  Each night that snowmaking operations are underway you'll also have the opportunity to tour the Snowshoe compressor house to learn about the high-tech equipment that makes the art of snowmaking possible.
