Shavers Lake & Lift Rides
|
Welcome to the highest elevated beach in West Virginia. Located on the basin side of the mountain, Shavers Lake is a relaxing adventure for the entire family. Hop aboard the Ballhooter Lift for a scenic ride to the beach where you can try out watersports like paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, water bikes and more. On land, you can enjoy a game of sand volleyball, a pirate ship playground for the kids, a nature trail and a shuffleboard court or you can chose to sit back and relax on the beach or in one of our cozy hammocks in the woods. New this season, the eurobungy and climbing wall will be available at the Shavers Lake area.
After spending a day playing on the water, head over to the Boathouse for a bite to eat or your favorite beverage. Sit back on the deck overlooking the lake and relax over laughs after a hard day of having fun.
