Shavers Lake & Lift Rides

Welcome to the highest elevated beach in West Virginia. Located on the basin side of the mountain, Shavers Lake is a relaxing adventure for the entire family.
Hop aboard the Ballhooter Lift for a scenic ride to the beach where you can try out water sports like paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, water bikes and more.   On land you'll find a 30' climbing wall, a Eurobungy, a pirate ship playground for the kids, a nature trail, cornhole and ladder golf games, horseshoe pits, and a shuffleboard court.  Or you can choose to just sit back and relax on the beach or in one of our cozy lake-side hammocks.

If you work up an appetite after an afternoon of adventure at Shaver's Lake, head over to the Boathouse for a bite to eat or your favorite beverage. Sit back on the deck overlooking the lake and relax while enjoying the cool mountain breeze.
