Celebrate the end of the winter season with our annual Last Hurrah Weekend with the 6th Annual Pond Skimming Contest.
Saturday- March 29th 2008
10 am- 2pm – Bring in the Spring- Last Hurrah Event
-Come and join us for our 6th Annual Sink or Skim competition and our on-slope games on skidder slope. Join DJ Judd as he brings in the spring with your favorite beach tunes and entertains you with on slope games including the Tutti Fruitti Contest.
10:30am- 1:00pm: Registration on Shaver’s Centre Deck.
Noon: Tug-o-War Competition. Get you team together and show your Snowshoe pride and Represent.
12:30 pm: Limbo competition: high or low competition.
1:00pm: Best Costume competition and line- up for pond skim.
2:00pm – Pond Skim Competition.” Open to 30 competitors.
Award for the following categories
-King and Queen of the Pond- $100 Gift card , medal and season pass for 2008/2009 ski season
-Best costume - $25 , medal and lift ticket for next season
-Sorriest Skimmer- $25 , medal, ski lesson for next year
3:30pm: Tutti Fruitti competition
