GNCC University

GNCC & GNCC University at Snowshoe Mountain:

The GNCC at Snowshoe Mountain is an AMA/ATVA sanctioned Can-Am premier off-road racing series.  The greatest off-road riders in the world converge here at our resort for America's Toughest Race!

The GNCC series is America's largest off-road racing series for dirt bikes and ATVs, and the Snowshoe race is the toughest and most prestigious on the circuit.  Over 1500 racers are expected to compete on the mud, trails and mountains of Snowshoe. Fans can take the ski chair lifts up and down the mountain to catch the action.

There will be a $50,000 cash purse on the line for the riders who best negotiate the course. Competitors are expected to travel from Europe, Australia, Japan and South Africa in attempts to win the BIG prize!  Amateur classes will compete as well, with classes for beginners, women and youth riders and even utility and 4X4 ATVs.

Before the start of the Grand weekend, Snowshoe Mountain will host a GNCC University, an unprecedented opportunity to learn GNCC bike and ATV skills from Yamaha's factory riders, with 36 National Championships between them!  Students will learn proper navigation of up hills, down hills, grass tracks, woods, rocks and mud, and learn how to handle competitive starts. Students will also participate in lectures about sportsmanship, training, nutrition and mental preparation.

The three day university will include a welcome orientation, a meet and greet with Yamaha Champions, breakfast, lunch and dinners, multiple instructional riding periods, a roundtable discussion, and a recognition program on the final day.
