The Snowshoe Foundation, with RE/MAX Old Spruce and Snowshoe Properties Management, is holding an Art Auction Saturday August 16 in Snowshoe's Shavers Center. Proceeds from the auction are to help with the reconstruction of the historic Marlinton Depot, burned in March of this year. The depot is the main Visitor's Center for Pocahontas County and home office of the Pocahontas County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
This is a great opportunity to support the community, pick up some nice art pieces to spruce up your condo or home. There will be 165 paintings, drawings, glasswork and sculptures.
