It reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts, making Diamond Rio the first country music group in history to top the charts with its debut single. "Meet in the Middle" was followed by thirty-two more chart singles (including four additional Number Ones) throughout the band's career.
Opening for Diamond Rio is Alli Gillis. Alli is a sixteen year-old country sensation originally from Fairfax, Virginia.
