At Snowshoe, we take kids seriously! Our children's program are specifically designed and tailored to make learning to ski and snowboard fun and enjoyable.
We combine the fun of discovery, the challenge of trying new things and the excitement of mastering new skills into a great morning, afternoon or full day of skiing or snowboarding. Our programs are offered on a daily, weekend, weekly and season-long basis.
In our continued effort to make the Snowshoe experience safe for all our guests, all children 12 and under participating in either group or private lessons will be required to wear a helmet.
All youth ski and snowboard rental packages will include a rental helmet, and helmets may be purchased or rented at all Snowshoe rental locations.
Snowshoe appreciates your participation in our efforts to promote on-snow safety to the sport's next generation, and we encourage all skiers and riders to wear a helmet while enjoying the slopes at Snowshoe.
We make learning to ski fun for the kids. Children will learn new skills while in a safe and encouraging environment.

This program is not available for children who are snowboarding. For Children 4 to 6 years old interested in snowboarding, we suggest a Private Lesson.
Under the watchful eyes of caring instructors, your child will learn the most important aspects of skiing: having fun, putting on equipment, standing up and getting around. As your child advances, we'll guide them around making them safe and respectful all-mountain skiers.

The guidance provided by our pros will make your child's first snowboarding experience one to remember. They will learn the equipment, speed control, safety and respect for other skiers and riders.
