Welcome to another exciting winter season at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. The autumn air seems to be growing chillier by the day, and the foliage is beginning to turn brilliant colors. Once again this year we plan to turn on our snowmaking equipment on November 1, with a planned Opening Day of November 26. In the meantime, we're preparing to make Winter 2008 - 2009 our Best Season Ever!

Although we're continually rated the southeast's #1 Ski Resort, Snowshoe strives each season to offer guests an improved vacation experience. Last season we were thrilled to open three new trails in our South Mountain area. This season, we've made small improvements across the mountain's three areas that will make a big difference to our nearly 500,000 winter guests.
