Snowshoe Mountain has four distinctive neighborhoods placed across the resort.
Mountain Base - Located 6 miles, a 15 minute drive, from the top of the mountain, the Mountain Base offers mainly hotel units with some one bedroom options available. Food and shopping options are available at the Mountain Base at the Inn at Snowshoe. Parking for guests lodging at the Mountain Base is available at the lodging properties or in the general parking lot at the Top of the World. Properties at the Mountain Base include the Inn at Snowshoe and the Overlook Condos.
Silver Creek - Situated a mile from the top of the mountain, the Silver Creek area, featuring studio, one, two, three and four bedroom options, is the perfect alternative for families. Kids World, the Tubing Park, the Mountaineer Terrain Park and night skiing are some of the on hill activities available at the adjacent Silver Creek ski area. The Silver Creek area also features shopping as well as food and après ski options. Properties at the Silver Creek area include Silver Creek Lodge, Creekside Villas and Sunrise.
North Mountain - The North Mountain neighborhood sits atop Snowshoe Mountain. These properties offer everything from studios to 5 bedroom townhomes. Most properties are ski-in/ski-out and are just a few minutes walk from the activities in the Village. Properties in North Mountain include Camp 4, Whistlepunk, Powderridge, Powdermonkey, Black Bear Crossing, Stemwinder, Land's End, Shamrock, Sundown Hutches, Mountain Crest, Pedestal House and the Ridgewood condos.
South Mountain - The South Mountain area is situated at the top of Snowshoe Mountain. Most units here are ski-in/ski-out and all have easy access to the shopping, rentals and dining options available there. Plus, the Top of the World check-in center is there, making your travel distance from check-in to your lodging short. Best of all, this is where the new Soaring Eagle Express is located along with our three new trails, Ember, Hoot's, The Tool Shed and Top of the World rentals. Properties located in South Mountain are the Soaring Eagle Lodge, Loggers Run, Timbers, Snowcrest, Leatherbark, Wabasso, Treetop and Top of the World.
Village Central - The Village Central Neighborhood is located at the top of the mountain. Most units here are ski-in/ski-out and all have easy access to the shopping, rental and nightlife of the Village. Properties located here include Seneca, Allegheny Springs, Highland House, Rimfire, Mountain Lodge, Expedition Station and the Summit condos.
West Ridge - Single-family homes, with up to 5 bedrooms, set along West Ridge Road. Beautiful rimfire sunsets are available nearly every night as most homes feature large atrium windows looking west over the valley below. Homes along West Ridge Road are serviced by an on-call shuttle providing easy access to the Village area and slope systems.
