In historic Durbin, you have the opportunity to ride & experience the sights and sounds of one of the rarest steam locomotives in existence.
The Falls of Hills Creek is located right in the Monongahela National Forest.  The creek has been rated as one of West Virginia's cleanest streams by the Department of Natural Resources. The Falls of Hills Creek is just south of Highway 39, 5 miles west of the Cranberry Mountain Nature Center.
This device, located just a few miles from Snowshoe Mountain, is the world's largest, steerable radio telescope. Scientists from around the world use the Green Bank Telescope to study virtually all types of astronomical objects known, from planets and comets in our own Solar System to quasars and galaxies billions of light-years away.
