If you are visiting Snowshoe Mountain and currently do not have your own skis or snowboards, there's no need to worry because Snowshoe has four rentals shops to serve you.  Most of our rental shops are located slopeside which means renting and returning could not be more convenient.  All our rental shops are stocked with the latest, high quality, gear from Salomon and Burton.  Also, Snowshoe's rental shops offer very competitive prices.  True, you may be able to find prices that are cheaper than Snowshoe's, but the superior product and ski in/ski out convienence of Snowshoe's rental shops more than make up for the price difference.  Plus, if you bring other rental equipment to the mountain and something was to happen to it, Snowshoe's rental shops unfortunately cannot service and repair this equipment.  So, for the best value for your dollar, we recommend renting your ski and snowboard equipment directly from Snowshoe. 

We also strongly recommend that you make your rental reservations in advance.  By booking in advance, not only will you receive a lower price, but you'll also be guarenteed of your proper size in the equipment that you need.  Our Reservation Specialsts can help you with all your rental needs.  When you call to reserve your equipment, we just ask you to have the following information ready:

1. Names of all people renting equipment.  When doing this, please make sure you have whether they will be renting skis or a snowboard.
2. Age, height, weight and shoe size of all people renting.  This will ensure that we have your equipment properly set up for you.
3. Skier Type.  This will be either a I, II or III.  A Level I is a first time skier or riders.  A Level II is a more intermediate skier or rider.  And a Level III is an advanced skier or rider.

If you reserve your rentals in advance either online or through the Snowshoe Central Reservations, you will want to pay paritcular attention to the following ski and snowboard equipment rental pick up instructions:

LODGING COMPLEX:  Inn at Snowshoe    
RENTAL PICK UP:  Base Mountain Retail (located at the entrance of Snowshoe Mountain)

LODGING COMPLEX:  Silver Creek Area
RENTAL PICK UP:  Silver Creek Rentals (located inside Silver Creek Lodge)

LODGING COMPLEX:  Village Area
RENTAL PICK UP:  Expedition Rentals (located on the lower level of Expedition Station in the Village)

LODGING COMPLEX:  North Mountain
RENTAL PICK UP:  Expedition Rentals (located on the lower level of Expedition Station in the Village)

LODGING COMPLEX:  South Mountain
RENTAL PICK UP:  Top of the World Rentals (located inside Top of the World building)

LODGING COMPLEX:  West Ridge Homes
RENTAL PICK UP:  Top of the World Rentals (located inside Top of the World building)

Please bring the preprinted rental waivers that you will receive during Check In at the Front Desk to the rental shop identified above to expedite your rental process.  If you have ski lessons, it is highly recommended that you visit the rental shop the evening before or at least one hour prior to your schedule lesson time.
